We spent yesterday afternoon struggling to stay awake and stay warm. It's really cold so we cuddled up in a blanket but then couldn't stay awake. We made ourselves get up at about 7 so we could make dinner for when Damelza got home. We had spaghetti bolognaise as we could make it without having to think, a task we were finding extremely difficult! Damelza got home and we had dinner and then played some more on the wii. It is nice to spend some time with Damelza, even if she may be regretting letting us stay here because of the mess her flat is since there is no where really to put our back packs. I spoke to my mum and cousin, MaryGrace, on msn. It's a weird feeling knowing we are going to bed as they are starting their day.vvWe went to bed just after 10pm and slept pretty well. Damelza got up for work around 8 and Dan was awake so he made me breakfast in bed. He was like a totally different person after being a zombie for the last few days. Now I know how he feels when I normally wake him up early. I have still been feeling a bit dizzy but a lot better than yesterday. Dan spoke to his parents which made them all very happy, even if his mum is counting the sleeps until we are home! Today's jobs were set up our bank account and see the local area. It was fairly easy to do. We found our way to the bank and a very helpful man set everything up for us. We then went to the gym to see how much it cost. It was a really good gym but too expensive for us at the moment. We got a free trial session though so we made the most of it. I was feeling dizzy so we came home for some lunch and I had a sleep. My cousin Carrie woke me up by calling me to see how we were. Dan tried to set up the Australia maps on the satnav but it wasn't as easy as it should have been. We couldn't use Damelza's new laptop because Vista was too new so we had to boot up her old laptop. I think the mice inside it had to run on the wheel very fast to keep it going! It took about 3 attempts because the laptop kept cutting out. It shut down because it was too hot so we decided to go to town again to apply for a medicard and check out the train station. The town is only 5 minutes walk away and we got our bearings very quickly. We came back to the flat and finished off the sat nav and played on the wii. I challenged Dan to a competition on the wii fit but we soon gave up after he kept easily beating me (only because he wouldn't do the games I was really good at!). We finished playing because I wanted to watch Neighbours. It's not too difficult to work out what has gone on even though we have missed some due to the fact that Australia is so far ahead of us. I didn't recognise one new family in it but Dan told me who they were (and he doesn't watch it, yeah right!). We uploaded some photos on here but may do it differently next time so we can write what they are. Some are self explanatory though...Dan is doing Yoga in one of them not just standing like a tree. Now I'm just typing this up while Dan is having a nap. I think his batteries have finally run out.
