We had breakfast just before it finished and then I headed to the pool as it was too hot in the sun. I had a shower and we met up for lunch. We went back to the superb restaurant and I had fajitas. We walked back and cooled off in the air con room before our afternoon trip. Gary was ill so stayed behind.
We walked down to the port and got on our boat for our sunset cruise. It was hot on the boat so we all sat in the shade. First we visited monkey island. We jumped off the top of the boat and had to swim. It was very sharp coral so we had to swim all the way to the shore. It was very tiring. The monkeys didn't like the pineapple we were giving them. They were stealing bananas. There were some really cute baby monkeys. We kayaked back to the boat and they were easier to stear than the Halong bay ones.
We sailed to a different part and kayaked into a lagoon. I was with Dan and George so I didn't have to work hard. We saw some tiny fish jumping out the water like flashes of light. We kayaked back and got the snorkels and masks on. We saw a leopard shark on the bottom. The fish were amazing, brightly coloured and lots of variety. The coral was good too. We spent an hour looking about.
We then sailed to Maya beach made famous in the film the beach with Leonardo Di Caprio. We had to swim to the shore and climb through a "cave" (which was a hole in the rock!) and then walked through the trees to the beach. We took lots of photos and then swam in the really warm water. When we'd had enough we had to Kayak back to the boat which was further away then we thought.
The sun was setting so we took some nice posy photos and watched it set. Despite it being yet another sunset, it was beautiful. We had some food. It was chicken green curry and rice and was very spicy but lovely. We sailed back and got back to the hotel for a well needed shower. It was too early for bed so we went for a quick walk to get some bracelets and then came back and watched TV before bed.
