Jackpot
We left the campsite in Brisbane around 10am. We went to the local shopping centre Cannon Hill as we needed a few bits and peices. We spent ages looking around the shops and stocking up on tinned food. We eventually left the shopping centre around 1ish. We drove to Marburg as in Helen's camp 5 book (a book which shows free stays) it said Marburg Showground was payable but by donations in the honour box. We had so much space to choose from we couldn't decide where to park as we wanted to be in the shade as it was so hot. Then we discovered there was electricity so we moved again, and again and again! We had everything we needed, including electricity. We were so lucky. We couldn't find the honour box but then Helen and Ian found it and it said $12 a night payable to the groundsman. We said if we had to pay it wasn't too bad, just shame it doesn't have a pool. The groundsman came but didn't mention anything about money. We walked into the town which is very small but found a general store and a pub which does food some nights. We have decided to stay until Thursday at least. It's right in the countryside and there are loads of horses about. The most annoying things are the flies. They are driving us mad!
