Ups and downs

I thought the laptop was ok but it's taken me an hour just to get on here. I gave up with the dongle and just connected to the free wi-fi here. I hope I can type this up before it cuts off.

This morning we were awake at around 6am ish. It was very hot so I unzipped the flaps and tried to go back to sleep only to be kept awake by the neighbours from hell. We eventually got up at 9am and I went for a swim to cool down. I then walked to Aldi with Ian and Helen while Dan stayed behind to watch the neighbours move to another site on the camp site. He watched him struggle trying to drag the whole tent down the road. He said it was funny watching him and would've helped him if he wasn't such an idiot!

My trip to Aldi was just as funny. I bought some drinks and food and I reckon I had 10kg in my backpack! Half way home we found an abandoned shopping trolley so Helen and I put our shopping in and pushed it home. Ian didn't want any part in it and struggled rather than admitting it was a good idea. We parked up the trolley just outside the campsite and it's still there now.

Once we'd put the shopping away I rubbed down some of the filler on Pepina and then Ian put another skim on it. It's looking miles better although it will never be perfect. We're happy with it though. We looked online at other camper vans for sale and we're hopeful we can get a good price when we sell her.

This afternoon it was very cloudy so we went to play on the jumping pillow and then for a swim in the pool. While we were on the pillow we noticed some flip flops on the canvas roofing. Helen decided she wanted them so Dan jumped for ages trying to knock them down. Ian was throwing his flipflop up to hit it along. Just as Dan had nearly got it Ian threw his flip flop up and got it stuck up their too! He had to get a pole to get his down. I was dying with laughter. Dan was sweating like mad so we headed to the pool. We played piggy in the middle with the ball which was fun.

Dan's now gone for a sleep while I played on the internet.
