Last night I didn't put the photos on as I only had a few. Dan spoke to his sister and newphews. Leon couldn't work out how "Dan Dan in the 'puter". It was good to speak to them and see them on the webcam :-) I fell asleep about 9pm.
We woke up about 9am this morning. Dan spoke to his dad while I worked out what we were going to do for the day. We had a couple of bits to do in town. We had to take Damelza's Guitar hero guitar back because it doesn't work properly but they wouldn't replace it as they had none in stock so they could only send it away to be repaired. We didn't bother but we weren't impressed with them. We then went to the bank to join our visa account and savings account together. We saw the boss lady and she couldn't understand why we had two seperate accounts. She then saw we had been given one free so she said the guy who set it up for us would be getting in trouble! She helped us set our pins up and transferred some money so we can finally use our account.
We came back for some lunch, bacon rolls :-) We then walked to the botanic gardens. It was really warm when we were in the sun. We took some photos and walked around it. I liked the herb garden but I think the whole place will be better in the summer. We found the visitors centre and had an ice cream. I had pistachio flavour and dan had lemon sorbet. We looked at the book to plan what we will be doing tomorrow. We decided to walk back but on the way I noticed the Shrine of Rememberance so spent an hour looking around there. An old guy took a liking to Dan and was telling him all about someone in the war.
We had an enjoyable afternoon. Best thing of all was that it didn't cost us much. I have discovered that my sense of direction is awful! Luckily Dan's is very good so we don't get lost. Walking home was knackering and we were glad to get in and have a cuppa. Dan spoke to his mum and dad and the orange one even spoke to us even though he was still half asleep. Now Dan is playing on the wii trying to beat Damelza's score on the balancing balls....and I'm supposed to be the competitive one!!!
