The oldies

We planned our revenge on the oldies. First of all we tied up some coke cans on a string and put it underneath Keith and Carol's car. Then came the master plan. We moved the small palm trees which are in pots from by the bbq area to Bruce and Marion's awning. Keith then got in the shower so we put another palm outside his cubical. We were watching and laughing, especially at one man's reaction to finding a palm tree in the toilets. Keith found it funny though and thought that was it. We then moved all 6 palms around the awning so it looked like a forest! The other man was looking at us wondering what we were doing sneaking about so we had to explain it. We left it and went to bed.

At 6.50am we heard Marion knocking on Helen and Ian's van saying the police were investigated some stolen palms. We then heard the cans rattling as they had discovered them before driving off. It was funny though and we all laughed about it. They offered us a lift to the market at about 9 so I slept in for a little bit and then had a shower and breakfast.

It was a ladies only morning so Helen and I went with Carol and Marion to Kaola markets. They got all their fruit and veg. Helen and I only bought a pineapple each. We then drove to the pier where there was another market on. We didn't get anything. We drove back to the campsite. We needed to get some food so we walked to the supermarket and stocked up. We came back and cooked up some lunch. Dan loved his poached eggs cooked in water.

We chilled out in the pool, although Helen and I did 40 laps without touching the side at each end. We mucked about with the men going on their shoulders and trying to push each other off. Helen and I then walked to the beach an back, taking just under an hour. It was really pleasant. Dan and Ian went to play bowls again.

We got back and after a shower we cooked dinner. Dan made homemade lamb burgers and were really yummy as usual. Now we're just sitting around chatting. Today has gone so quickly. We might be staying until Saturday now as we have been invited to another bbq but we're not sure yet.
