The op shop

This morning I got up and bought some postcards from the office. I wrote mine and Dan did his and then I walked to the post office to get the stamps for them. When I got back Dan was eating his breakfast. The oldies had gone out so we put our plan into action. We took the flag down and put up a pair of Keith's pants. We told everyone to look at the flag pole.

We decided today we'd have a trip to the op shop, basically a charity shop. Helen and Ian bought a curtain to cover the front part of their van to give them privacy when they are asleep as well as a bread knife. They spent a whole $1.50! I bought 3 reading books, a puzzle book and 2 pairs of shorts. I tried on about 10 pairs but only bought 2 of them. Dan bought a stubby holder which said "I'm busy, you're ugly, have a good day!" We spent $12.50! What a cheap shopping trip.

We went to the supermarket on the way back. Most things were on offer so we got a lot of bargains. We came back and Dan had steak, prawns and cheese sandwich while I had tuna and sweetcorn rolls. I helped Helen fit her curtain. Helen found Keith's washing outside his van so we added 2 more pants to the flagpole so they flew when the wind blew. After our lunch had gone down Helen and I swam 60 laps of the 12m pool. We got told 84 is a kilometre so we're going to do that tomorrow.

Gail, who has been staying here 6 weeks while her house purchase goes through, bought Dan a foot file thing for his dry heels so he sat round the pool and filed his feet. He's been showing his feminine side recently!!! Keith and Carol came home and Keith thought it was funny that his pants were flying. He took some photos of it. I showed Helen some of our photos we have already taken on our trip. We have nearly 1500 already.

I had a shower and then went for a walk to the beach. I went a different way to yesterday and did a triangle route. We had a chat to people at home and are now talking to other people in the caravan park who come to use our kitchen! We're going to have a thai green chicken curry tonight, yummy.
